I’m back with a dessert place!

Who doesn’t love a little dessert? Today, we’re going to Mango Mango, Houston!
This cute little dessert place is located in the corner between Kim Son – Bellaire and Zero Degrees, it’s almost hidden away unless you know what you’re looking for.

I finally got to try this place after having dinner with my friend. Outside there are two tables where you can enjoy the weather (if it’s ever nice weather here). The interior is quite open. When you walk in, you’ll see wall table booths to your left and tables and chairs to your right.

We were a little confused on how to order here because it’s not your typical dessert ‘order at the counter’ place. They seat you and bring menus over to you and when you’re ready to order, they’ll take your order on an iPad. I think this is genius; they’re eliminating lines that go out the door and you’ll have your seat when your dessert comes out. I’m assuming when you order to go, you’ll go straight to the counter.

My friend and I have this habit of over-ordering, especially if there are pictures on the menu. The pictures are just so pretty! Our server(?) pointed out to us that any items that had a thumbs up next to it was a popular item. So of course, my eyes zeroed in on the thumbs up and I ended up ordering three items plus one to go.

We ordered the Strawberry Mango Juice Sago & Lychee Jelly with Mango Ice Cream, the Mango Mille Crepe, Taro balls with Herbal Jelly, and what was meant to be to-go, Black Sesame Paste Soup with Mochi.

My favorite would surprisingly be the Black Sesame Paste Soup with Mochi. I couldn’t stop eating it even though I was getting tired of the taste (hahaha, sesame has that effect on you).

Four items, two people. We definitely did not finish but everything was so good! The Taro balls with Herbal Jelly and Mango Mille Crepe were still good the following day when I was craving sweets and didn’t want to eat any ice cream.
